On a wet and cold night, 24 runners braved the heavy rain to race up Newtyle Hill. First back after a wee early detour was Stuart Robertson in a time of 33:41 followed by Brodie Hunter and Catriona Morrison who was first lady in 35:01, a new record. Bob Sheridan was first MV50 and Phil Forte first MV60. Laura Nicol, the local lass with bags of talent came a good second to Catriona and Chantal Clark was third overall. Lad vet prizes went to Fabian Thompson FV50 just ahead of Mairie Entwistle in 41:47. Thanks to Graham Nicol and Davie Duncan for marshalling and setting the course. Maybe back to Wednesday next year due to the low turnout.
