The Benarty Hill Race will be held on Sunday 27th October. The race will start at 11:00am

The Benarty Hill Race, starting & finishing at Lochore Meadows Country Park, is approximately 6 miles with an ascent of 1000ft, taking on trails, woodland paths, fields, and of course the stunning Benarty Hill. Participants will get the opportunity to take in the picturesque views over Lochore Meadows and across Loch Leven to the Lomond Hills , the Firth of Forth to the Lammermuir Hills and Pentland Hills . Distant views to the north and west are dominated by the Southern Highlands; on a clear day the profile of the Isle of Arran may be visible 80 miles to the west, including views of The Forth Bridges.

All finishers will receive a bottle of beer fromLoch Leven Brewery and a medal supplied by The Ginger Baker

There will also be a spread put on too giving out soup, stovies, cakes, teas, coffees etc.

As if it’s not exciting enough the event will be getting filmed by a very talented filmmaker for you all to enjoy and look back on a few days after the race.

Chip Timing will be provided by PB Timing.

St Andrews First Aid will be on site and providing services if required.

There will be Extensive Age Category awards (40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 70+) as well as prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall male and female.
