There are currently issues affecting forecast wind speeds and gusts for higher-elevation sites (typically above 500?m) on the Met Office website and app, meaning this data is temporarily unavailable.

However, the wind information on the Mountain Area Forecasts is not affected.

So if you are planning on a high level run please check MWIS or the mountain area forecasts
