Distance: 7.2km / 4.5mi Ascent: 670m / 2200ft (Cat AS)

Registration / Number collection: 11am – 12:40pm at Dalmunzie Estate, Spittal of Glenshee, PH10 7QE
Uphill only route to the summit of Glas Tulaichean (1051m) on good double track with a few stream crossings & the last few hundred meters to the top on open hill. A land rover will take a bag to the top for each competitor so when you finish you can collect your warm clothes, pause to enjoy the spectacular views (on a clear day!) & jog back down for post-race tea & prize-giving. Please bring your own cups for tea & coffee to cut down on plastic waste. Pre-entry will help the organisers in planning for numbers but entries will also be available on the day from 11:00 & will close at 12:40pm (Bag drop closes at 12:20 to allow time to transport your gear to the top). You must carry full waterproof body cover including hat & gloves and entries are restricted to over 17s.
In the event of poor weather an alternative course may be run at the Race Organiser’s discretion.
There is also the ~1km Glas T Toe Tickle fun run at 1:30pm for any younger runners who wish to take part. Entry is free & all runners will receive a certificate & treat.

The event is organised by Dundee Hawkhill Harriers. The race is bound by SAL and Scottish Hill Runners' rules. Minimum age is 17. All hill race competitors have a prime responsibility for their own safety. You must judge as to whether you are able and equipped to take part. This is a risk sport.
All runners taking part are required to carry full body cover including hat & gloves.
