Runners were blessed again this year with decent conditions for Saturday’s 670m ascent of Glas Tulaichean. First to the summit was Brendan Forrester (unattached) in 38:46, followed by Thomas Dobbing of Durham Fell Runners & Westies’ Brian Bonnyman in 3rd.
Garscube Harriers’ Louisa Brown was the first female home in 47:17, with under 20 runner Hania Czebreszuk of Aberdeen AAC & unattached Freya Hotson completing the podium positions. Most runners lingered on top for a while to enjoy the views & cheer on remaining finishers before the jog back down to the farm for tea and prizes.
Thanks to Dalmunzie Estate for their support & especially to all the volunteers who gave up their time to help make another successful race. Thanks too to all the runners for coming along & rewarding their efforts.
