| So far the only category decided is the men's Over 70 in which Roderick Pugh has been unbeaten and completed all the races. The Men's Over 40 team is semi decided in that Queen's Park cannot be beaten, but Carnethy can take equal first place (pressure on Carnethy, though!).
Philip Volkes (Highland) still leads the Senior Men and Ellen Downs (Westerlands) still leads the Senior Women. There are now only four men who could beat Philip and similarly four women who could possibly beat Ellen. Some like Alice Flint (Lochaber) are on form, but would need to run well in both the last two races.
In many categories the favourite(s) are often a race or so short and therefore are not currently sitting at the top. Examples being the Men's Over 40, Men's Over 55, Men's Over 60 and Women's Over 60. Of course, the favourite(s) still have to run the races and get the points - nothing is guaranteed!
