  • Alastair Pringle, Secretary

    Alastair (TJ) took over from Jill as Secretary at the 2025 AGM, following a year as social convenor.

  • Jill Stephen, Convenor

    Jill took over from Peter Mackie as Convenor at the AGM in 2025, following a 6 year stint as Secretary.

  • Stewart Whitlie, Treasurer

    Stewart took over from Hugh McPherson in December 2021 after the AGM

  • James Callender, Journal Editor

    James is always keen to receive any contributions for the annual journal - long or short.

  • Kirsty Dickson, Committee Member

  • Angela Mudge, Committee Member

    Angela finds advertisers for the SHR calendar and now works for Scottish Athletics as the National Lead for Hill and Mountain Running. She is neutral!

  • Gordon Pryde, Membership Secretary - co-opted committee member

    Gordon was Convenor from 2012 to 2016.

  • Andy Spenceley, Championship Statistician - co-opted committee member

    Andy has been a member of SHRA/SHR since its formation and has served on the Committee for most of that time in roles such as Treasurer, East District Rep., Ordinary member and, currently, Statistician. He runs for Carnethy Hill Running Club.

  • Fred Davies, Race Insurance

    Fred joined the Committee in December 2025, taking over Race Insurance from Jill Stephen. Race organisers seeking SHR insurance should download the insurance registration form and follow the instructions on the form for submitting their race details. Failure to follow the instructions could invalidate any application. Please go to Insurance which can be found on the About SHR menu, or contact Fred for more details.
